Through the art of creative integration, modular trade show displays allow you to create a unique look for your trade show exhibit in Orlando. Modular displays are great if you want to present a sophisticated look at your trade show. Modular displays are different from the standard pop up displays that you see many companies use and are sure to get you noticed at your next trade show.
Modular exhibits are one of the most flexible and easily transportable types of exhibits. Modular trade show exhibits combine the portability, ease of setup, and modularity of a panel display with the look and feel of a high end custom-made trade show booth. Modular displays can be custom designed to convey your branding message and give your customers the brand experience they are looking for. Even though modular displays are usually lightweight, they are all designed to be strong and durable.
There are a wide range of benefits in choosing a modular display for your next Orlando trade show exhibit:
- Modular displays can be quickly and easily adapted to any space.
- Modular trade show exhibits are very cost effective.
- Modular displays can be custom-designed to fit any style or brand message that your company wishes to convey.
- Modular exhibits can be fully integrated with any type of media including video, sound, lighting, etc.
- Modular displays are lightweight and can be easily transported to and from the trade show.

Is your company attending a lot of trade shows but not realizing any return on your investment? Is top management questioning the benefits of having your company participate in these trade shows? If so, you may need to take a step back and ask yourself (and your company) some fundamental questions about your tradeshow strategy.
First, ask yourself “what is the purpose of attending these trade shows?” Our experience in the trade show industry has shown us that most companies attend trade shows out of habit or as a shotgun approach, rather than using a specific and targeted trade show strategy. When the purpose of attending trade shows is not integrated into the overall marketing, sales, and profit goals of the company, attending trade shows can be ineffective and a waste of company resources.
Then ask, “Who is your target audience?” Your target audience should be the people that you expose your brand to at the trade shows you attend. Check the audience demographics at the various trade shows your company attends to make sure that you are exposing your company to the right people, your target audience.
“What is the message that you want to convey to your target audience and how are you communicating this message?” People today are bombarded with an overload of information from a variety of channels. This makes attracting and keeping the attention of your target audience more challenging. Therefore, the audience needs to experience your brand through an interaction that engages their senses. The audience needs to connect with and retain the essence of the brand so that they can become a customer. Your audience needs to know and understand your competitive advantages so they feel good about associating themselves with your brand and making a purchase.
Lastly, come up with a targeted and purposeful trade show strategy and implement it. Do not use your trade shows as isolated events for showing off your company or for a sales getaway. Integrate trade shows into the marketing and PR efforts. Then, create measurable Return on Investment metrics that relate to expected revenue generation from the trade shows. This way, upper management can see and measure the results from participating in these trade shows and measure their effectiveness.
At Configurations in Orlando, we are experts at creating all types of trade show displays. Configurations knows how to connect your customers with your brand so that they will remember your brand long after they see the trade show exhibit in Orlando. If your company is a continuous participant at trade shows and conferences, it may be wise to actually have more than one exhibit available for the sole reason of logistics. It may seem like a good idea to purchase one great engaging, interactive exhibit to showcase your products or services, but it may prove difficult to constantly transport it all over the country. Here are a few things you should consider if you’re on the road a large portion of the year with your exhibit:
- Have you ever had a stressful situation transporting your exhibit between conferences only a day or two apart?
- Has it proven costly to transport your exhibit a far distance in a short period of time?
- Can you safely say that some events are more important than others?
If you can relate, you may want to consider purchasing more exhibits that aren’t as elaborate while being easy to transport. Some of the exhibits include pop-up and table displays. The cost savings you will incur from shipping smaller, more compact exhibits to the far reaches of the world will eventually cover their initial outlay.
At Configurations, we are experts at creating any kind of trade show display. We also offer booth rentals and completely custom exhibit designs. Contact us today at 1-888-717-7698.

In the world of marketing, we’re always looking for trends and the next clever way to stand apart from the competition. Though trade show displays are complete customizable, there are plenty of available resources to really take a booth to the next level. The first way this can be accomplished is by using custom graphics and rich media content. Custom graphics further distinguish you from the slew of other booths at the convention. Rich media content, or in other cases multimedia, is interactive and narrows you down to some of the few truly immersive experiences.
Since immersion is going to make an exceptional exhibit, thinking outside of the box is absolutely essential. Gimmicky props and a helpful booth staff will certainly go a long way, but it’s going to take creativity and ingenuity. Creating spaces can be very dynamic – consider custom walls and floors to further awe your visiting conference attendees.
Once your exhibit has reached its pinnacle of engagement, implement a strategy for pre and post marketing. There are many different ways to approach this, and Configurations and meet and discuss with you what they are and which ones can work best for your particular industry.
At Configurations, we are experts at bring out the best of any trade show display. We also offer booth rentals and completely custom exhibit designs. Contact us today at 1-888-717-7698.

Now that you know what size you need your display to be, what type of display do you need? Going into this decision process may be a little intimidating. There are five main categories of trade show displays: tabletop, modular, portable, hybrid, and completely customized. Before you make a step in any sort of decision, conclude the first consideration: how engaging would you like your display to be?
This is going to push you in a direction where you must find displays that can accommodate engaging additions. Typical booths that do this are island, inline, and hybrid displays. You’re going to be seeking a pop-up or portable display if you want something that is more straight-forward, easy to transport, simple to set-up, and is more likely to avoid restrictions at conventions. Hybrids are becoming quite popular because they combine tradition trade show displays with more exotic and exciting features, such as unique surfaces, fabric, and great visual displays that fit in quite well. Island displays are what they sound like: displays you are able to move on either side of. These are great for immersive areas to interact with.
Lastly are inline displays. They normally have a large, aesthetic backdrop with the ability to add many different graphical and interactive components in the front. If you are in the market for something that needs to be almost completely customizable, modular displays can be what you’re looking for. They are easy to tailor to needs and are easy to work with when adding key elements and multiple, creative accessories.
At Configurations, we are experts at consulting with you about what you want for a trade show display, and then creating it. We also offer booth rentals and completely custom exhibit designs. Contact us today at 1-888-717-7698.

In the world of trade show displays, many people have an idea of what they want, when they want it, but not necessarily the terms, descriptions, and jargon to get it. Going into it, you quickly realize how customizable displays can be, and how many different setting there can be and how thoroughly they can be modified.
First, consider what the sizes typically are for a trade show display-10 x 10, 10 x 20, 20 x 20. Familiarize yourself with these dimensions, because when you rent the space at the trade show or convention, you’re going to have a very specific amount of room where your display can be placed. Also find out some other things about your location, because they will directly influence the kind of display you wish to go with. Are you going to be in between other displays, or at the end of an isle? End of the isle locations are able to utilize unique displays such as peninsulas.
The size of your display also may be restricted by the rules and standards outlined by the convention center. The possibility of blocking other displays from any angle of the convention floor is unacceptable, and will not be permitted. It is important to have your display dimensions pegged down exactly so you can avoid this problem. Also, any additions to the display that occupy more space have to be measured accurately.
At Configurations, we are experts at consulting with you about what you want for a trade show display, and then creating it. We also offer booth rentals and completely custom exhibit designs. Contact us today at 1-888-717-7698.

Experiential marketing is a concept which very few understand fully and how it fits into the marketing mix. Brand loyalty is a result of positive experiences with a company’s product and service. The experience, actual or perceived is the foundation of the relationship. Traditional media channels (TV, Radio, print) create awareness, curiosity and are in the amplification of the message to a mass media. However, the experience channel is targeted to an audience and communicates through a desired experience that we want the audience to have which is consistent with the brand promise. The mass channels create awareness but the experience channel creates emotional bonds.
Research has found that when the experiential channel is complimented with the traditional channels the reinforcement and recall is much improved. The emotional bonds that were created through the positive experience are triggered and the relevance of the ads hit home. Mass marketing has its place and for certain products the right choice, but also comes with waste. Experiential marketing is not applicable to all products but for the right product it is most effective when it is combined with mass marketing to keep the feeling top of mind. We do not buy products and services. We buy the experiences that they provide. Brand awareness alone does not create revenue, but Brand Adoption does. Mass marketing can create awareness but experiential marketing promotes adoption.

With E3 2011 that just passed by, some of the most dynamic and creative trade show displays of the year were featured. Many of them were completely interactive and immersive.
Here is an example of one of them:
As you can see in this picture, the participants are completely involved in what is being featured-in this case, the product is “Dance Central 2″. Often times with technology conferences, it is easy for people to be able to take part in your product by actual testing the product right there are the display.
Trade show displays can be tricky at certain conferences. One might think it might be difficult to engage participants at a dentists’ conference, or perhaps something generally mundane like a cement trade show. At Configurations, we’re not afraid to dream big! We see these as opportunities to stand out in the crowd and emotionally grasp our visitors no matter how uninteresting the event may seem.
If you’re interested in seeing how Configurations can do this for you, contact us today at 1-888-717-7698.

The debate goes back and forth about the effectiveness of hired trained models or true brand ambassadors that are employees of the company at trade shows and special events. The words authentic and passionate come to my mind when I am trying to evaluate a professional relationship. In any competitive market the top players have products or services which are very similar in technical performance, so where is the difference. How does the prospective customer differentiate? It is usually in the perceived experience. Do they believe in your claims of the product or service and do they have confidence that you will go the distance to service them and give them a great experience. Authentic? Passionate?
Depending upon your product or service, evaluate from the experience that you would like to create and the audience you are targeting. Are you just trying to do a mass exposure or a relational outreach?
Mass professional exposure, trained models work fine.
Relational outreach, well trained corporate brand ambassadors will make the difference.
The right people can really make a difference in the effectiveness of your event. Learn more about great talent that can support your display in Orlando, Miami, Tampa, or Jacksonville. Contact us today at 407-788-3070.
